I was born and raised in Gloucester City, New Jersey. At the age of 13, I accepted God’s call on my life to ordained ministry. From that point on, I developed a particular passion for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

My journey has taken me from a traditional, highly-liturgical background to a missional church that many would label as "emergent" or "post-modern". We're simply trying to be authentic.

I am now 47 years old (I’m at that point where I need to think about how old I am before answering- uh, yep, 47). I’ve been married for over 20 years to my beautiful wife, Karen. I have two daughters- one in college and one in high school. Pray for me. No, really, they are fantastic daughters. They really make Karen and I look good. Personally, I’m a highly competitive individual. I use to play a little basketball, though I’m really out of shape. I also like to play just about any card or board game. However, none of these are my first love when it comes to past times. I absolutely love to fish and you can find me most evenings casting around the lake that’s just down the street from my house.
