The International Missions Program provides an on-going opportunity for people to grow spiritually through service to others in God's world. Through short-term mission trips, the program opens the door for member involvement in cross-cultural evangelism and ministry and the opportunity for a conversion of the heart experience to better understand God's desires for all humanity.
Threshold partners with other churches participating in international missions opportunities. With St. Paul's Lutheran in Maumee, we continue to participate in missions work in Guatemala. Each year, there are at least two such opportunities.
Additionally, we are partnering with Hope Lutheran Church in Ottawa Hills. Hope is involved in mission work in a number of locations, including Haiti, El Salvador, and Romania.For more information about any of these opportunities, contact Tom Schaeffer.
