Worship is at the heart of what it means to be a Christ-follower. It can come in many forms and mean many things. Worship can be the sense of awe one feels when watching an approaching thunderstorm. Worship can be the prayers of two friends over the struggles of the week. Whatever we do that reflects and demonstrates our awe, love, and trust of God is worship. In that sense, we believe that a bowl of hot soup given to a person on the street is an act of worship. Jesus said, "When you do it for the least of these, you do it for me."

Worship is also what we do together every Sunday morning. It is a time of celebration as we consider what God has done for us. It is also a time to come clean about what we've done wrong. It's a time to listen for God and to hear what he has to say. It is a time to receive guidance and encouragement from each other and from God and His Word for our spiritual journeys.
To that end, our Sunday worship is full of energy and passion. We want worship to be an experience that genuinely communicates that we believe God is alive and present. He wants to give us the guidance and direction we seek for life. All we need to do is engage Him and open ourselves up to Him. For that reason, we encourage worship that is fully engaged. God is awesome and we want to worship Him with everything we've got- mind, body, and soul. Sit silently, raise your hands, kneel- do whatever you feel led to do to worship the God of all creation!
